We are making changes to our compensation plan!

Under Construction

The district's compensation committee is working this year to refine our system for the 2021-2022 school year.  For the 2020-2021 school year, we are utilizing a Hybrid point model.  This means:

  • All staff approved for a Master program prior to March 13, 2020 are able to continue course work and receive points.  If you need verification please contact HR Director, Nick Curran.

  • All other points will not be approved at this time nor will any additional masters programs or course work.

  • In lieu of points, should there be any district/building level initiatives that are beyond your contract responsibilities and not volunteer work it will be reviewed by the leadership team and additional compensation will be provided if deemed as an appropriate district/building initiative.  This does not include committee work, committee work is voluntary at this time.

  • EE mentors will receive the $850 stipend as provided by the Employee Handbook for being a mentor this year.

We want to be clear that points are frozen, they are not lost.  During the review of the current system we will determine what to do with current earned points, if there are any changes to the system.

The compensation committee will be meeting in the fall/early winter to review/refine our current system and look for ways to continue to move compensation forward in alignment with district goals and initiatives.  We do not know what this will look like at this time, but will provide updated communication as we work through this process.

We recognize this decision creates some uncertainty in the short-term, however, we believe this is necessary to best allow you to focus on the instructional needs of the district's students and provide the committee the necessary time to review/refine the current system.  We are confident we will be able to provide you with updates later this year.

We appreciate your understanding and thank you for the patience you are providing. Should you have any questions please contact Nick Curran.

Respectfully, The Compensation Committee
